Song of Today - Rollercoaster
Sep. 14th, 2015 09:23 pmMany Swedish artists sings in English but there are several good ones that sings in Swedish too and that actually sounds best in Swedish too. An example of this is the rockband "Kent". They are very famous in Sweden and have been around for a long time and I remember hearing their song "Kräm (så nära får ingen gå)" (from 1996) when I was probably 12- 13 years old. I didn't listen to them then. But well they had that one hit song that I could remember. But then in 2002 they released an album that got really popular in Sweden and I guess I have liked them since then and listen to them on and off during all those years. And always discovered more and more songs from them that I like. It is really a shame that I haven't gone to any of their concerts yet. They have done so many good songs, it is amazing, I like almost everything from them. Not strange since they are inspired by other bands I really like, such as Depeche Mode and The Cure... but I don't think they sound like any other artist. They have their own unique sound. The songs are usually melancholic and very beautiful.
