the life of iresi

This week I finally went to go shopping. I'm going shopping next week too with a friend but I couldn't hold myself. I just had to take a look because it has been too long time since I bought something new and it feels like everything I have is getting worn-out but my biggest need is new pants. So that was my main-target but of course as usual when you look for something specific you won't find it... I tried maybe four pair of jeans and all of them were too tight although I didn't take that small sizes and I'm so skinny that my ordinary pants feels big... it feels like something is wrong... but well there were one pair that I could wear but they felt too tight on my swollen left knee so in the end I didn't buy them anyway. I like to use things I buy directly so even if I would be able to wear it in a few months I don't want to wait for my knee to get less swollen. I might buy those pants when my knee is "normal" again. So buying pants was a bad idea.
I also tried out shoes, which was also a bad idea since I must have flat shoes that are easy to walk in right now. Of course I found a pair of really wonderful shoes that I really wanted but didn't know when to use them :/ I was sensible enough to decide that now was not the time to buy them... maybe later on. Besides I don't think I had my discount card with me. I got a card in that shoe store so I could get 10 % off.
I usually get cards and stuff in clothes stores as well.
I did find two very nice sweaters though :) So I didn't get home empty handed. I bought them at N.Y Collection. A small store that usually have sales and doesn't have many customers but I always go there late after work anyway so. But I found many nice and different kind of clothes there so it is one of my favorite stores :)

I do like shopping but I don't like the overconsumption. I try to be as environly-friendly in my living as I can and I'm probably worse when it comes to shopping. I think I should go to second hand stores more often because sometimes you can find real cool stuff there. Like one T-shirt I bought in a second hand store near where to where I live. That's what I would recommend people to do. To go to second hand stores. I have a lot of clothes and some of them I haven't even used. It is a waste so I thought at least i should take pictures of them and well if I never use them I should donate them to second hand stores. Maybe someone else will use them.

Today I also tried something new. I tried using my new camera stand and the self timer on the camera. It was really fun. It felt like I was a model :P But gosh how hard it is to do good poses... I have no fantasy... it looks easier on Top Model then it really is. But anyway it was fun to play with the camera. I will definately use it more :)

I guess the male aquantence who thought my thing was blogging about fashion and gaming was not so wrong after all :P Well I don't know about fashion... I like clothes, dressing up, taking pictures and games too so why not :) Although I will only write about StarCraft2 at the moment. I've been training on something in SC2 that I'm actually really proud over myself for... I'll show you later on...

The other new sweater. I wore it at my job on Friday and got compliments for that it is a different cut on it :) Well that was what i liked about it too plus that I like green clothes :)


This one is pretty new but haven't found a good oppurtunity to use it yet.




I bought this one maybe two years ago but I never used it :/ Too bad... maybe I should donate it?




This is my second hand finding. I have used it to work but it was a while ago now. I like the belt too, it is not second hand though.
